This is how the front of the school looked like in 1973. What is not shown in the picture, is the weather station that the geography club operated. Maureen Moloney tells me that the gardens now have all gone to weed.
Update: A certain teacher was quick to point out that the word "weed" was not used in the entheogenic sense.
Ken, Just to clarify..."weed" not from the '70s, but weeds (ie. no WeedMan)!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder when the teacher jumps all over the word weed ~ especially when that teacher was a student in the '70's. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteAnd here we are, just a mere 45 years later (October 1973 when this photo was taken, and now October 2018). The word WEED is now a throwback to the '70s. One week to go - and your baggies are in vogue! lol
ReplyDeleteAnd here we are just 45 years after this photo was taken in October of 1973. We've come full circle in respect to the definition of WEED. Just a week to go before the baggies can freely be displayed - October 17, 2018.
ReplyDeleteBaggies were the way that the gray flannel uniform slacks fit.
