Some More Memorabilia from the Salad Days in OCHS Times

I'm getting tired of posting obituaries of OCHS alumnus and teachers, so I thought that I would add a blog posting of those wonderful days in the 1970's

Remember Becker;s?

There was a Becker;s milk and convenience store a block down from my primary school, St. Joseph's on Simcoe Street North in a plaza near Beatrice Street that is no longer there. Becker's was ubiquitous in Oshawa.


And of course these were the jugs that the milk came in at Becker's:

Long before WalMart, there was Woolco, and Woolworths:



And finally you had Eddie Shack, the Toronto Maple Leafs star selling pop for the Pop Shoppe:



Those were the days!
