OCHS stood for Oshawa Catholic High School. It is now known as Paul Dwyer High School. It is still located at 700 Stevenson Road North in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. These images are from my photography archives, and they are intended as a blast from the past. I have just digitized these images from dusty negatives that have not seen the light in a pile of years. In addition, other archive photos have been added from contributions by graduates and teachers of the high school.
When I moved to the tropics, I didn't bring my yearbooks with me so I am at a disadvantage in naming this teacher. What I do know is that he taught religious knowledge or RK in Grade 12, and if my memory serves me correctly, he was a priest.
This is a photo of Father Gary Harrison and he was a friend of my family. He eventually left the priesthood and moved back to New Zealand, where he was from. He got married. I had a wonderful opportunity to visit with him and his wife while travelling there. I am sad to say that Gary died in the early nineties.
