Early Early Origins -- St. Joe's High

When OCHS was first incarnated, it was known as St. Joseph's High School (after St. Joseph's Primary School on Simcoe Street North which is now shuttered. Incidentally, I attend St. Joe's primary school. The Sisters of St. Joseph taught at both places. Coincidence -- I think not). This is a rare photo of Boys Basketball in the Fall of 1962 at St. Joe's High.

  1. The "old school" Simcoe St. N. is now a Montessori School. Guess they got all of the asbestos out!

  2. A lot of good lookin' guys. Of course, I'm a little prejudiced about that. Many good athletes and very many successful business men in later years. Good crop.
