OCHS stood for Oshawa Catholic High School. It is now known as Paul Dwyer High School. It is still located at 700 Stevenson Road North in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. These images are from my photography archives, and they are intended as a blast from the past. I have just digitized these images from dusty negatives that have not seen the light in a pile of years. In addition, other archive photos have been added from contributions by graduates and teachers of the high school.
That's my dad!
ReplyDeleteHe use to tell me that one day when he would come to pick me up from (elementary) school, he was going to kiss my teacher in front of my entire class. If you knew my dad, you knew he was quite the prankster. Therefore I was terrified. My younger sister happen to have this same teacher a few years after me and he of course warned her as well. One day, that school year, he actually did kiss her. He told this teacher it was something he had wanted to do for a long time. My sister was mortified.
My dad was loved. And now greatly missed. Thankfully he left behind countless fun memories and humorous stories to reminisce.
