Arthur Chai, the math and guidance teacher used to sponsor Chinese students from Hong Kong. These guys were quiet, endearing and insanely serious about school. They regularly topped the marks lists, especially in Grade 13.
This is Roman Yuen. We got along quite well. He was the most animated of the group, and the only partaker of the Lapsang Souchong tea that smelled like dirty gym socks in the coffee club that we ran in Blair Morris' classroom.
